We walked a couple of miles or so around the hills of the Lamanai site.

We saw ball courts, several temples, and a wealth of wildlife and plants. Squirrels and lizards scampered the ground, & monkeys chattered and rattled the branches overhead. We walked to the tops of the temples, and the view down of the forest around us was astonishing.
